McKibbon House Guest Rooms
Whether it's a romantic weekend getaway, quiet vacation or romantic honeymoon travel spot, we cater to the comfort of all our guests. Each of the bedrooms has a private bath, TV/VCR, and wireless internet service. For the safety of our guests, the house is equipped with a sprinkler system and smoke detectors and insulated with Icynene, the only insulation approved by the American Lung Association. Amenities include off-street parking, wine and cheese in the afternoon, fresh flowers and drinks right outside the room, early morning coffee in upstairs common area before breakfast, and a full breakfast. Each room has its own personality.
Our rates are $120.00 plus applicable taxes.
The Lawley Room
The Lawley Room is named in honor of Leonard and Betty Lawley, owners of the house from 5/17/68 to 3/1/95. It has a handmade, King-size bed, private bath with original claw foot tub and shower. A perfect choice for a Quiet Vacation or Romantic Honeymoon Getaway.
The Smitherman Room
The Smitherman Room is named in honor of Melvin and Lottie Smitherman, who owned the house from 2/28/52 to 5/17/68 and features king size bed with a feathered bed top, private bath with oversized shower and private balcony. This room can be converted to a set of twin beds. A rollaway can be added for an additional charge.
The Galloway Room
The Galloway Room is named in honor of J.W.D. and Lois Galloway, who owned the house from 1944 to 2/28/52 and features a queen size bed, private bath with shower and private balcony. Call now to book this room for your next weekend getaway travel spot!
The McKibbon Room
The McKibbon Room is named in honor of R.F. and Sarah Cathryn Warnock McKibbon. The McKibbons built the house in 1900 and owned it until 1944. It features a queen size bed and private bath with shower. The turret area with a loveseat creates a perfect setting for that romantic weekend getaway, quiet vacation, romantic honeymoon, and birthday or anniversary travel spot. |
